Sustainability
Chemical Use
Because of the nature of cleaning businesses, using chemicals is inevitable. At Suir Clean, we prioritise agents that minimise environmental impact whenever possible by selecting products with the EU Ecolabel and ISO 14001 certification. We routinely assess our cleaning product range to ensure they meet our high standards, as demonstrated by our own ISO 14001 accreditation.

Going Paperless
While it may not be feasible for an organisation to become completely paperless, Suir Clean is committed to continuously reducing paper usage. The recent transition to digital invoicing and timekeeping has led to a notable decline in paper consumption and enhanced operational efficiency. Whenever a process can be digitised to replace paper-based methods, we pursue that opportunity.
Employee Turnover Rates
We closely monitor our staff turnover rate as a key performance indicator each month. Many team members have worked with us for 10 or even 20 years. In 2024/2025, our staff turnover rate averaged just 2.3%, which is exceptionally low for the industrial cleaning sector. Our commitment to employee development includes promoting from within and offering training opportunities in management, health and safety, and sustainability. We recognise individual needs, focusing on work-life balance and ensuring everyone has the right to disconnect.

Uniform
The textile sector accounts for approximately 10% of global emissions. Suir Clean is dedicated to equipping staff with uniforms that are comfortable, professional, and durable, while minimising environmental impact. Currently, we supply employees with polo shirts and fleeces composed of 100% recycled polyester as part of our commitment to sustainability. We intend to transition to uniforms made entirely from recycled materials as soon as such options become available.
